  2. Please read the enclosed Translator Menu doc for instructions regarding the Menu init.
  3. Word Translator should replace all previous versions of the application. It has to be in the same folder as the dictionaries.
  4. This is version 2.1, included changes are:
  5.    - Added user dictionaries and functions to modify dictionaries
  6.    - Added import to user dictionary from text files and the Clipboard
  7.    - Enhanced the interface by splitting the main view and showing translations there also
  8.    - The floating translation window was removed
  9.    - Added a list to show all changes the user has made
  10.    - Removed a number of bugs including some that caused problems on PPC Macs
  11.    - The application is now native on both 68k and PPC Macs
  12.    - Users can fully control the appearance of fonts
  13.    - Added full drag and drop support and support for copying from lists
  14.    - Added a system menu that allows access to dictionaries from all other applications
  15.       allowing word lookup from any application including web browsers and E-mail programs.
  16.    - Provided a function to sort dictionaries to ensure that the dictionaries are always
  17.       correctly ordered according to the source language script system.
  18.    - Rewrote the manual to reflect the changes made.

  20. Other changes to policies and service
  21.    - Added the Travel Translator package, a low price package that includes 16 dictionaries
  22.       to and from English. This is ideal for those who want to learn the basic vocalbury for
  23.       languages or translate common words when travelling to foreign countries.
  24.    - Revised and standardised the registration fees, now includes lower prices for on-line
  25.       orders that are received and delivered over the net. Every order over the net get
  26.             10% discount.
  27.    - Formed the partner program that allows users to submit changes, additions and
  28.       corrections to dictionaries and get free updates to their dictionaries in return.
  29.    - Also a part of the partner program is the "special purpose" dictionaries where
  30.       users can submit their dictionaries as shareware  so other users can register
  31.       those dictionaries for use in Word Translator. See the "Partner programs" file
  32.       for more information.
  33.    - Added official mailing list to improve user support.
  34.      - MacWay readers that order 2 dictionaries get the third one of equal size free.

  36. The partner program
  37.         Because users can add and modify entries we have chance to expand and improve the
  38.         dictionaries by adding entries that users send in. To  encourage users to contribute
  39.         the WT Partner program offers anyone that sends in 2500 or more entries a free
  40.         dictionary of size I( <50.000 words) and a lifetime free subscription to the dictionary
  41.         he contributes entries to. The added entries must pass the quality test and must be new
  42.         or substantially improvements or corrections.
  43. The Travel Translator package
  44.         For just $49 you can get 16 dictionaries with 10.000 words each. They contain
  45.         common words from the following languages>
  46.         Spanish, Portuguese, German, Danish, Polish, Russian, Italian and Norwegian.
  47.         Each dictionary is both from and to English.
